Hours: 9:30-12:30

These two bindings are the closest to today’s typical book structure. The Tetsuyoso is a multi-section held together with simple sewing and a wrap similar to other Japanese bindings. The Senpuyo has pasted pages that mimic the wings of butterflies.

Stuart Hill has studied bookbinding with CBBAG under the guidance of Betsy Palmer Eldridge, Don Taylor, Dan Mezza and Rose Newlove. With a background in engineering and architecture, his keen interest is in the discovery of book structures. Please visit Stuart’s website: www.georgehillco.com
