In honour of our provincial centennial, I chose to take a look across our province from West to East, from mountains to badlands, showcased against the backdrop of blue Alberta sky. A life long passion and fascination (obsession, perhaps?) with paper and books came to fruition when Sarah Butt discovered bookbinding and book arts. Combined with an equally long-lived interest in, and love for the natural world, her work celebrates the variety and colour of nature with two of humankind’s most versatile and enduring creations: books and paper.
